Grillo Sauvignon Blanc Sicilia DOC - Barone Montalto

A white wine from Sicily made from Grillo and Sauvignon Blanc. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose brings exotic fruit such as mango and pineapple, fresh citrus, a delicate herbaceous note, white flowers and a mineral hint. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with balanced acidity and good structure, leading to a long, persistent finish with a slightly savoury aftertaste. It suits fish dishes, seafood, fresh salads and soft cheeses, and works as an aperitif or with a light meal.
