A red wine from Sicily made from Nero d'Avola. It shows an intense ruby red colour, with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry, plus hints of sweet spice, vanilla and liquorice from wood ageing. On the palate it is soft and velvety, with silky tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish with cocoa and roasted coffee notes. Serve at 16-18°C with red meat, game, aged cheese or rich pasta sauces.
