Pinot Grigio Spumante Brut Cucunci Barone Montalto

A Sicilian sparkling wine made from Pinot Grigio grapes by Barone Montalto. It shows a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers white-fleshed fruit such as apple and pear, white flowers and light minerality. On the palate it is elegant and balanced, vibrant and fresh, with pleasant acidity and a sapidity reminiscent of a sea breeze. The finish is clean and refreshing, with good length. It suits aperitifs, light fish or shellfish starters and Mediterranean dishes.
