Hakushu 12 Years Old is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the Hakushu distillery owned by Suntory, the company that founded Japan's first distillery, Yamazaki.
The original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973. A second distillery building, Hakushu Higashi, meaning west, was added in 1981.
Suntory has since officially discontinued the 12 year old.
