Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve (70cl, 43%)

This is a no age statement Japanese whisky from Suntory's Hakushu, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is made to show the character of Hakushu's young, lightly peated single malts. The colour is light gold. The nose offers peppermint, melon and cucumber. On the palate there are yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme, and the finish is refreshing with subtle smoke.
