Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve (70cl, 43%)

Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve is a single malt whisky from Hakushu (Japan). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Launched domestically in 2012 and to international markets in 2014, the non-age statement Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a combination of lightly and heavily peated malt. The second malt distillery to be built in Japan by Suntory, it was opened in 1973. The original facility was replaced by a new one in 1981 and it has the ability to produce a range of different spirit styles. The Hakushu single malt brand tends to showcase its peated production however.
