Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Mt Kaikomagatake distillery, made with water from the Southern Japanese Alps and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It combines lightly peated malt whiskies with malt whiskies aged in American white oak casks, and serves as the introduction to the Hakushu range.
It is described as green and fresh, with a crisp, vibrant taste and a herbal, gently smoky character.
