Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve (70cl, 43%)

Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a single malt Japanese whisky made by Suntory at the Hakushu distillery in Yamanashi. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without an age statement. The distillery stands at high altitude in the Japanese Southern Alps, surrounded by forests, and draws on water filtered through ancient granite. Its whisky is known for a fresh, herbal character with a slight smokiness, shaped by the local microclimate.
