A craft vodka produced in Northern California by Hangar 1 Distillery, founded in 2001 in Alameda, California. It blends pot-distilled Viognier grape eau-de-vie with column-distilled neutral spirit from American wheat, made in small batches over several weeks per batch. The vodka is bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose is fresh and lightly floral with honeysuckle, citrus blossom and subtle grape notes. The palate is smooth and rounded with soft wheat sweetness, Asian pear and delicate fruit tones, balanced by clean mineral clarity, with a lightly perfumed, silky finish and lingering floral notes.
