The nose has cracked pepper, toasted rye grain, caramel, vanilla and charred oak. On the palate it is bold and lively, with baking spice, black pepper, toasted grain, oak and a touch of caramel sweetness. The finish is long, warming and driven by spice, with lingering rye character, oak and dry toasted notes.
