Hazelburn is the triple-distilled whisky made at Springbank in Campbeltown. This ten-year-old was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021 at 46%, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured entirely in bourbon casks. The malt is dried over hot air only, so there is no peat smoke in the glass.
The nose offers caramelised apples, honey, pears and a hint of vanilla. On the palate there is clear vanilla, chocolate and fruit, with apples and pears. The finish is oily and rich, ending sweet.
