This is the 2025 edition of Hazelburn 10 Years, an unpeated Campbeltown single malt made at Springbank Distillery. It is bottled at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The name refers to a lost Campbeltown distillery. Hazelburn is triple distilled, which is unusual among Scotch single malts, and makes up only 10% of Springbank's production. It matured in bourbon casks.
The nose is mineral and sweet, with tropical fruit, mandarin, baked pineapple and honeycomb. The palate is creamy, soft and fruity, with custard tart, green apple and honey. The finish is subtle, with caramel, ginger and a hint of wood.
