Hazelburn 14 Year Old is a triple-distilled Campbeltown single malt made at the Springbank distillery. It was distilled in October 2004 and matured in Oloroso sherry casks until it was bottled at cask strength on 5 February 2019. The strength is 49.3% and the bottle size is 70cl. The outturn was 9,900 bottles.
The nose offers dried fruit, nutty chocolate and fine sherry notes, followed by mocha, dark fruit and pecans. The palate is creamy and complex, leathery, with ripe raspberries, blueberry muffins and sweet chocolate. The finish is medium in length, sweet and spicy, with salted caramel, coffee beans and more sweet chocolate.
