Hazelburn – 7 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Wood (70cl, 47.9%)

This is Hazelburn 7 Year Old, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength, 47.9%, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2026. Hazelburn is the unpeated, triple distilled malt made at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. Here the spirit takes on a pronounced sherry influence. It is described as showing dark fruits, toffee and sweet spices, with sticky toffee, ripe fruit and fine herbs adding depth.
