Hazelburn 8 Year Old is a single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2010 at a cask strength of 56% ABV. It was bottled exclusively for the Japanese market from a single bourbon cask, chosen by Frank McHardy, then production director, and Gavin McLachlan, the distillery manager. Hazelburn is the triple-distilled, unpeated line made at Springbank. It has a strong bourbon influence and is sweet, with plenty of vanilla and a note of vanilla cake icing.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
