This is the 2025 edition of Hazelburn Sherry Wood, an 8 year old triple distilled single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. A new Sherry Wood edition is released each year, and this one was bottled on 4 March 2025 in a run of 10,500 bottles worldwide.
The nose offers sweet cinnamon with cocoa powder, cranberries and redcurrants. Mixed berries build on the palate, along with strawberry chewing gum, sticky toffee pudding and blackberries.
The finish is nutty, with hazelnuts and walnuts.
