This is a 15-year-old small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 54.5% ABV (109 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It matured in new charred American oak.
It is named after William Heavenhill, the farmer who owned the land on which the original Heaven Hill Distillery was established in 1935.
The colour is deep amber. The nose has caramel, dried fruit, warm rye spice and aged oak. On the palate there is brown sugar, dried fruit, vanilla and baking spice. The finish is long and warm, with rye spice and oak.
