Helios Kyoda 2020 Edition is a whisky from Helios Distillery, distilled in Okinawa, Japan. The nose combines caramel and tropical fruit over vanilla custard, with solvent notes, medicinal peat and a little malt at the end. The palate is dry and spicy, with cigar smoke and ashy, smouldering peat. The finish brings back honey, along with cinnamon, slices of ginger, lingering minerals and salty peat.
