Hellyers Road Double Cask is a small batch Tasmanian single malt, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky first spends a minimum of five years in 200 litre American oak ex-bourbon casks. It then moves to French oak barriques that previously held Tasmanian Pinot Noir, which adds red berry notes and a Tasmanian influence.
It is described as rich and full, with raisin toast, stewed fruits and candied orange, along with a hint of clove.
