This is a five-year-old single malt from Henstone Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It was aged in a single ex-bourbon cask, and the distillery team handled every stage themselves, from mashing and distilling to ageing and bottling.
Henstone is an English distillery, established in Shropshire in 2017, where spirits are made in a 1,000 litre still named Hilda. This bottling was released in September 2023 from a batch of 342 bottles.
It is described as smooth yet complex, with layers of flavour and a very long finish.
