Henstone Distillery – Ex-Red Wine Cask Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

This is a single malt from Henstone Distillery, an English distillery established in Shropshire in 2017, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for its whole period, just over three years, in Southern Hemisphere red wine casks. The distillery team sourced the casks directly from the producer, one of the top wine producers in Australia. This is the first batch, numbering 215 bottles, and it has not been chill filtered or coloured. The whisky is described as layered and complex.
