House of Lords De Luxe is a blended whisky from William Whiteley & Co., bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
Sherry casks shape the character of this blend, adding orange peel, polished oak and warm baking spices such as cinnamon and clove, with a very faint thread of smoke.
The nose is clean and sweet with a soft floral note, dried fruit, caramel, toffee and vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with heather honey, dried apricot and shortbread, moving towards dark chocolate and toasted almonds. The finish is long and smooth, with sweet spices and a subtle smokiness.
