House of Peers Signature Gold 25 Year Old (75cl)

House of Peers Signature Gold is a 25-year-old blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to the House of Peers range, the flagship blend of Hunter Laing, whose name refers to the upper chamber of the British Parliament. The blend combines Highland malts with soft Lowland grain whiskies. It was first created some 100 years ago, during the Victorian whisky boom, with richness of flavour and smoothness as its guiding qualities. Stewart Laing, the company's founder, recalls it being sold in markets from Venezuela to Thailand, and it enjoyed particular popularity in Italy in the 1960s and 1970s.
