Hr. Skov Julesnaps is a Christmas aquavit made with orange peel, cinnamon and star anise. It is golden in colour and gently sweet, which makes it an easy way into the world of snaps.
It is best served just below room temperature rather than straight from the fridge, and the producer suggests it as the liqueur to go with coffee.
The nose is very aromatic, with plenty of citrus and warm spices. On the palate it is lightly sweet, with mild orange and cinnamon and a hint of aniseed.
