Hr. Skov Valnød Snaps (50cl)

Hr. Skov Valnød Snaps is a Danish walnut snaps in a 50cl bottle. The green walnuts are picked in June, just before they ripen, from trees in Blåvand on Jutland's west coast. It is often called the king of Danish snaps for the deep, almost cognac-like aroma it can develop. The colour is dark gold. The nose brings walnut, cedar and vanilla, and the palate is big and complex, with a fine balance between sweetness and dryness, ending in a long, pleasant finish. It works well with cheese or as an avec.
