This is a 13 year old single malt from Dailuaine in Speyside, bottled independently by Hunter Laing for its Hepburn's Choice range. The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured in a sherry butt. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or artificial colouring, in a 70cl bottle.
Honey, strawberry jam and freshly baked bread lead on the nose. The palate offers fresh ginger, toasted almonds and sticky toffee, and the finish is warming and gently spicy, with toffee sweetness and toasted nuts.
