This is a 26 year old Speyside single malt from Cragganmore, distilled in 1995 and bottled in April 2022 by Hunter Laing & Co. for its Old & Rare Platinum series. It was matured in a single Sherry butt and bottled at 54.8% ABV, with 300 numbered bottles in the outturn.
The whisky is dark gold. The nose offers plums, berries and green ferns. The palate is sweet, with apricots, chocolate and spice, and the finish is long with lingering fruit.
