This is a Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, released under the Ichiro's Malt name in 2023 and bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of red wine casks.
The nose brings candied orange, blueberry and liquorice, with a hint of honey and salted caramel. On the palate there is cinnamon and cloves with a touch of menthol, and the finish turns to milk chocolate.
