This is the 2026 edition of Ichiro's Malt Chichibu The Peated, a heavily peated Japanese single malt from the Chichibu Distillery in Saitama Prefecture. It was bottled in 2026 at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. Ichiro Akuto founded the distillery in 2008. The edition is limited to 11,000 individually numbered bottles worldwide. It pairs pronounced peat with the fruity, complex character of the distillery's spirit. Expect aromatic peat smoke, citrus, orchard fruits, malt sweetness and warming spice, with fruit and oak balancing the smoke.
