This is a Chichibu release under the Ichiro's Malt name, bottled at 57.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 642 bottles. Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan opened in 2008. It was the country's first new distillery since Suntory opened Hakushu in 1973. It was the idea of Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery. The Ichiro's Malt brand appeared in 2005, and the first Chichibu releases came out under it in 2011.
