Ichiro's Malt & Grain 20th Anniversary (70cl, 48%)

Ichiro's Malt & Grain 20th Anniversary is a limited-edition world blended whisky, launched in 2024 to mark twenty years since Venture Whisky was founded in September 2004. Malt whisky from the Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, Japan, is its central component. It also draws on selected stocks from distilleries in Japan and overseas with close ties to the company, along with mature whisky kept in the Chichibu warehouses. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The nose opens with orange and grapefruit, then green apple and dried fruit, later adding baked pastries, toasted almonds, and light herbal and spice notes.
