This is the Maruhiro single cask release of Ichiro's Malt & Grain, cask number 14380, from Ichiro Akuto. The whisky is a deep amber, close to polished mahogany. The nose brings dried fruits, including figs and raisins, with oak, vanilla and hints of spice. On the palate, dried fruit sweetness meets subtle spice and a touch of caramel, in a round, velvety body. The finish is lasting and warming.
