Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended (White Label)

Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended is a limited edition blend from the Ichiro's Malt range, built around the art of blending. Ichiro Akuto selected malt whiskies from Scotland, Canada, the United States and Chichibu in Japan, and calls the result a Japanese World Blend Whisky. The whiskies in the blend are over 10 years old, and it includes a malt from the oldest stocks of the Chichibu distillery. The nose has peach, dried apricot, butterscotch, vanilla cream, citrus zest, banana sweets and gooey malt. The palate leads with toffee, then barley malt, gingerbread, tropical fruits, honeyed pipe tobacco leaves, black pepper, roasted chestnut and fresh-cut hay. The finish is medium in length, with vanilla and dried tropical fruit.
