Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blended malt whisky created by Ichiro Akuto, founder and master distiller at the Chichibu distillery in Japan. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
The blend contains malt whisky from Chichibu alongside other malt whiskies. Early editions included some malt from the Hanyu distillery, while the other components are now mostly Scottish single malts.
It is matured in French wine casks.
