Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a Japanese malt whisky from Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was aged in bourbon casks and then finished in French wine casks, so the wine-cask finish shapes a bourbon-cask base.
The nose has fruity top notes, while the palate brings bitter chocolate and orange peel.
