Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve (70cl)

Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a Japanese blended malt from Chichibu, made from a variety of single malts that are blended and then finished in wine casks made from French oak. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The wine casks add a floral and slightly nutty character, with a sustained fruit quality. The nose offers red berries, forest fruits, candied citrus and white flowers. On the palate there is a slight peppery note with dark chocolate, ginger and red apple, followed by a long finish of oak spice.
