InchDairnie Ryelaw Fife Single Grain Scotch Whisky (70cl)

Ryelaw is a single grain Scotch whisky from InchDairnie Distillery in Fife, in a 70cl bottle. It is presented as a Scottish rye and is made from a high-rye mashbill that is hammer-milled, mashed with a mash filter and fermented with a rye-specific yeast. It is distilled in a custom Lomond Hill still with copper bubble cap plates in the neck, then matured in heavily charred virgin American white oak. The nose shows rye spice, black pepper, toasted oak and vanilla, with sweet malt, green apple and light floral notes. The palate has cinnamon, butterscotch and dark fruit, and the finish is long and dry with spicy oak and soft vanilla.
