RyeLaw is a single grain Scotch whisky from InchDairnie Distillery in Fife, in this case the 2017 vintage. The mash is 53% malted rye and 47% barley, which is hammer milled, mashed, fermented outdoors and precision distilled.
It matured in new charred oak casks and has a golden colour.
The nose has rye spiciness mingling with mellow oak over a soft layer of vanilla. On the palate, peppery rye is wrapped in an oily, mouth-coating texture, with sweet biscuity, cereal and dried fruit notes.
