This is a 17-year-old single malt from Inchfad, the peated spirit made at Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands, bottled at cask strength, 55.5% ABV, for the Swiss independent bottler C. Dully Selection. The distillery produced Inchfad until around 2009. It was distilled in 2005 and matured in three bourbon hogsheads, numbers 408, 411 and 412, giving 142 bottles. Highland peat sits alongside a fruitiness, and the peat is more restrained and more complex than in the previous release from three years earlier.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
