A heavily peated 17 year old Inchfad from the Loch Lomond distillery, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2022 by Brave New Spirits for its Cask Noir range. Inchfad is one of Loch Lomond's peatiest spirits.
This single cask was a first fill Merlot wine barrique, number 430, and produced 285 bottles at 48.1%, in a 70cl size.
The official tasting note is short and vivid: grandpa's pipe, sauna coals and liquorice allsorts.
