A 12 year old Inchgower single malt at 40%, bottled in the 1980s and presented in a 75cl bottle with its original bag. The nose is dense and malty, with earthy and spicy notes: Danish pastry, barley sugar and tinned peach, followed by dunnage warehouse, ground coffee, almonds and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is unctuous, combining malt, fruit, nuts and flowers, with sweet barley, syrupy fruit, almonds and gentle herbs, plus pepper and ginger from the wood and a growing dryness. The finish is rather long, with malt, sweet fruit, nuts, a hint of chocolate and herbal notes, drying slightly but staying smooth.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
