This is a 12 year old Inchgower single malt from the Warehouse No. 8 series by Claxton's. It was distilled on 24 February 2012 and bottled in the summer of 2024.
The whisky matured in a refill Oloroso sherry octave, and the bottling yields 70 bottles.
The nose is rich with dessert notes: crème brûlée, strudel and caramel pudding. The palate is just as full and finely sweet, with dry sherry, sweet oak and fruit. The finish is long and mouth-filling, ending on an oily, fruity note.
