This is a 12 year old Inchgower, bottled at a cask strength of 57.7% from cask 805696. It was distilled on 9 May 2011, finished in an Oloroso sherry cask from Jerez, Spain, and bottled in January 2024. 286 bottles were filled, as part of the OLO series.
The nose is rich, with burnt honey and sweets, and maraschino cherries burning on a bonfire. Dark red berries lead the palate, with cherry, cranberry and a little spice. The finish carries spice and salt, with a sea note right at the end.
