This is Inchgower 12 Years Old, a single malt described on its label as a de luxe Highland malt Scotch whisky from the House of Bell's. It was bottled by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd. at 40% ABV, in a bottle of 757ml.
The nose brings dark fruit, ripe apple, dried apricot and malty sweetness, with light cinnamon and nutmeg, waxy caramel and a faint sulphury, mineral background.
The palate is velvety and full bodied, with rich toffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, soft citrus, ginger and malt, plus a gentle coastal, mineral note. The finish is medium to short, with caramelised sugar, oak spice and lingering nuts.
