This Inchgower is a 13 year old single malt, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage as number 53 in its 100 Proof Edition. It is bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
It matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Inchgower stands near Buckie on the coast of northern Speyside, and the whisky has a strong sherried character with a sea breeze and a salty, malty tension.
Apricot, honey and fig lead the nose, with cinnamon, vanilla and oak. Caramel, nut and apple meet a salty note on the palate, and the long finish ends on toasted oak, salt and sherry.
