The wine cask gives the whisky a fruity, sweet-and-sour character.
The nose offers freshly cooked strawberry and gooseberry jam, wine gums and almond chocolate. The palate brings sweet cereal, cooked fruit and a winey, sweet-sour interplay. The flavours stay on the palate for a long time.
