Inchgower – 14 Year Old 2000–2014 Connoisseurs Choice (46%)

This is a 14 year old Inchgower single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2000. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it in 2014 in the Connoisseurs Choice series at 46% ABV. The spirit matured in refill sherry butts and sherry hogsheads. Inchgower stands near the mouth of the River Spey and the coastal town of Buckie, which adds a maritime note to the Speyside character. Sherry cask, malt, dried fruit, subtle smoke, oak spice and nuttiness are the flavours described.
