Inchgower 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in May 2024 by Cadenhead's for its Original Collection, at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
It was first matured in an ex-Springbank refill cask, then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from 2022. The soft, dark sweetness of the PX sits against Inchgower's firm, slightly salty character.
The nose shows dried apricot, raisins, orange peel, malt and a light saltiness. The palate is full and round, with dark fruit, caramel, nuts, soft sherry sweetness and spicy accents. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly dry.
