First fill Oloroso sherry barrique
A 14-year-old Speyside single malt from Inchgower, distilled on 25 April 2011 and matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry barrique. Brave New Spirits selected the cask for its Cask Masters series. It was bottled at 52.7%, unfiltered and without added colour, from a single cask that yielded 205 bottles. The whisky is a warm amber in the glass. The nose is led by dark dried fruit, plum and raisin, with roasted hazelnuts and a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate a salty sea note meets the sweetness of the Oloroso, with malty tones and spicy oak. The finish is dry and long, with roasted nuts and gentle spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
