Inchgower 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Tri Carragh range by Stravaig Spirits. It was distilled on 16 June 2008 and matured in first-fill bourbon casks, and it is one of 221 bottles. It is bottled at 51.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of vanilla, buttercream, fresh fruit, peach, orange zest and fresh grass, with hints of toffee apple. On the palate the vanilla continues alongside tropical fruit such as cantaloupe melon, with cinnamon and green cardamom. With water it turns to vanilla icing on sponge cake, vanilla fudge, caramac and vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce.
